  • Jenny Bridges

    Curriculum Coordinator

Jenny grew up in beautiful Central Oregon and moved away to Orange County, California in 1999 to attend Vanguard University where she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Sociology.  She loved the area so much she decided to stay. She taught 1st grade for 11 years at a charter school that serviced mainly low-income families. She loves teaching, reading and writing to beginners, and is amazed at the process of learning that children go through.

In 2013 she returned to Vanguard for her Masters in Curriculum Design and Teacher Leadership. She joined a charter school that serviced homeschool families, similar to BCA. It was a dream job - teaching K-8 students in a variety of subjects as well as being a support to parents who were the primary educators.

In June 2018, just a few months after her second boy was born, Jenny moved back to Bend to raise them in the great outdoors and to be closer to family.  She is loving the accessibility of the lakes, rivers, hiking, and the mountain views! The boys are now 4yrs, and 1 yr, respectively, and in their spare time Jenny and her husband enjoy taking the kids outside to find adventure and enjoy the fresh air!
