BCA Staff Details

Marina was born and raised at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. She has always loved spending time exploring the outdoors and, in particular, finding hidden gems for dispersed camping! The Pacific Northwest drew her in with its lush beauty, so in 2004, she packed up and moved to Oregon where she attended the University of Oregon, for a Master’s in Education with a specialization in MS Language Arts and Social Studies. Throughout her career, she has taught in a variety of settings including a Magnet school for motivated learners in Newport and an International Baccalaureate school in Italy. Marina’s passion lies in making personal connections with parents and students in order to create an engaging learning experience that challenges students to think critically and follow their interests.
