BCA Staff Details

Matthew was raised in Bend, Oregon, and it is his favorite place to be. Growing up, he traveled the country competing in water ski and wakeboard tournaments. This gave him the opportunity to see the country and realize there truly is no place like home. Matthew obtained his Bachelor's in Elementary Education and is completing his Master’s in Elementary Curriculum Design. For the last few years, Matthew worked in Bend LaPine as an Educational Assistant in Special Programs and is so excited to shift gears to teaching at Bridge Charter Academy. He is very excited to begin and continue to grow relationships with the students in the community. In his spare time, Matthew can be found at the lakes or in the mountains, normally with his dogs, Tobias and Tigger, not far behind. He is always looking for the next adventure, or is working on one of his many on-going projects at his house. Matthew is so excited to meet everyone this fall and is looking forward to an amazing school year!
