High School Program
Flexible learning with the guidance, accountability, and opportunities students need to prepare for graduation, college, careers, and life beyond high school. Earn an accredited Oregon diploma through a personalized learning plan designed around your goals, interests, and future.
How it Works
As students transition from K–8 into high school, they gain more independence while continuing to receive personalized guidance and support.

Families choose from a variety of curriculum options. Curriculum Specialists help build the plan, while Canvas keeps learning on track.

Attend Weekly Cohort
Students come to campus one day each week for Academy Base Camp or Timberline, optional Bridge Classes, and time with friends.

Educational Coaches and Subject Area Specialists provide guidance, grading, accountability, and support throughout high school.

High school life extends beyond the classroom through Exploration Monday, monthly BCA Outings, dances and other opportunities to build friendships and prepare for life after graduation. Explore Student Life below.
Student Support Team
High school students are supported every step of the way. Educational Coaches, Subject Area Specialists, and families work together to help students stay on track while BCA provides an annual $800 learning allotment for approved curriculum, enrichment, technology, and other educational expenses.

Preparing for Life After High School
Every student works with our high school team to map the 24 credits required for an accredited Oregon diploma across a personalized 4-year plan, with room for their interests and future goals. Students conclude their BCA journey with an in-person graduation ceremony before taking their next step into college, career, or life beyond high school.

High School Weekly Schedule Sample
Every family builds a schedule that fits their learning goals and lifestyle. Here are a few examples of how different families might organize their week.

Daily Coursework (4–5 days/week): Complete lessons and assignments using approved curriculum and Canvas.

Weekly Campus Day(s): Attend Academy Base Camp or Timberline, Bridge Classes, and connect with classmates. Sign up for an Exploration Day workshop for additional campus opportunities.
