Laurie Krei

7th-8th grade LC

Bend

Laurie was born and raised in Oregon. She has a degree in Merchandising/Marketing and her Master’s in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Outdoor education is her passion and she looks forward to including that in her classroom environment. Laurie has experience in K-8th grade curriculum development, conflict resolution and teaching adult education workshops through working with the Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington. Additionally, she is a certified Wilderness First Responder with National Outdoor Leadership School. She has also taught archery with the National Archery in the School Program as well. Laurie joins BCA with a passion to partner with families and a desire to help students accomplish their individual goals. In her free time, she can be found hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, playing with her Mini Australian Shepherd or cheering on the OSU Beavers with a college daughter. This year Laurie returns to BCA for her fourth year. She has worked for 3 years at the BCA Lowell Campus and is excited to make a switch this year to the Bend campus and beautiful Central Oregon.
