Debbi was born and raised in Miami FL but moved to NC for college . After college, she moved out west to live the outdoor instructor dream of working for the National Outdoor School. She then moved to CO and went to school for her teaching credential in Boulder. After 10 years of teaching high school math, she became a school counselor and worked with students in public and private institutions. Debbi loves working with teenagers and is excited about getting back in the classroom!! She has been married to a wonderful man for 15 years and they have 2 amazing daughters and a pretty cool cat named Cocoa. Her family enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, river time and watching movies together. Debbi is super excited to be a part of the BCA team this year!
