BCA Staff Details

Amy Sayre is the 6-8 Learning Coordinator for the Bend Campus. She recently moved to Central Oregon with her husband and two dogs. She loves hiking and cycling, and she's looking forward to exploring more of this incredibly beautiful area!

Amy has an M.A. in Teaching and a B.A. in English/Writing from Southern Oregon University. She's been an educator for the past 14 years, teaching middle school and high school English/Language Arts and Creative Writing. She's even taught humor writing workshops for other teachers and educators.

When she's not working or riding her bike, she likes to play the guitar, write poetry or comedy, and spend time with family.
