Student Government

Learn more about High School Student Government at BCA:

• Any 9-12th grader can join BCA student government. 

• There are separate student governments at each campus with no coordination between campuses at this time and both campuses have a budget for events

• Student's participating have elected positions and elections are in the Spring for the following year.

• There is no High School credit earned for students who participate in student government, but it is definitely a resume builder and a helpful thing on a college application. 

• Candidates for Student Government are typically those that desire to see more social engagement and more accountability of staff and faculty to student needs. They should represent all classes in our high school program.

• This group is required to meet regularly, plan events and develop skills to communicate well. They are required to consider the needs of students on their campus and develop programs for those people.
